Jake Dailey

ABOUT

Jake Dailey is an aspiring actor about to be fresh out of his undergraduate training for performance in the Department of Theatre and Dance at Appalachian State University. He has been trained and had experience in a wide range of performance genres that include everything from classical to contemporary, academic to professional, and black box to outdoor theatre. His prowess for the stage in any form allows him to adapt to any situation thrown at him.
Though Jake has primarily been trained as an actor, his interests dive into almost every area of theatre. He has had experience as a dancer, director, stage manager, carpenter, electician, and costumer. He is also classified as an Actor Combatant with SAFD, and has worked as both a fight captian and co-choreographer. Jake never ceases to stop absorbing information, and considers education inside and out of the classroom to be critically important to growing as an individual and professional.
Jake has a deep love and passion for theatre as an art form. His greatest strength comes in his ability to adapt to the situation and perform, whether it be on stage or off. His dedication for theatre, and the passion that he demonstrates towards his work, demonstrates his commitment to excellence and growth as a professional.
"Mr. Dailey is sensational as The Amanuensis, so realistically deformed lumping about the set that surely the Theatre Department's chiropractic bills have skyrocketed!"
